We enjoyed the comforts of this small hotel. Our room itself was spacious with balcony and view. The location was stunning, close to a hill and a park...

Good location at countryside, but near Pisa etc. Nice building and garden, pool, parking-place and good dinner.

The outdoor terrace for selected rooms provides a nice view for relaxation. The surrounding landscape is notably picturesque.
The location is quite remote, requiring a car for easy access. Walking back from the main building can be difficult, especially for those with mobility challenges due to the steep hill. Some rooms felt dark due to minimal natural light ingress, and noise from the bed springs made sleep difficult at times. The evening dining lacked flavor, and breakfast had stale bread rolls with only a basic selection of items.

Lovely place with a good pool and only a couple of miles outside Lucca. Its also under 30 mins from Pisa Airport. Rooms are ok if a bit basic and staff were very pleasant and helpful.
I'm not sure you would get a lay in here we could here every footstep from the room above and the plumbing ran through our room so was noisy. Also the curtains dont keep out any light.

Staying at Villa Cheli was a mix of beautiful moments and some challenges. The villa is fine, with a magical cypress-lined driveway leading to the main building. My room had a cozy terrace, perfect for enjoying the tranquil views. The pool area was well-maintained and was lovely, but it was unfortunate that the towels were an extra charge of 3 euros each. Breakfast featured fresh local produce, but the selection felt limited, and items often ran out quickly without being replenished. Wi-Fi was annoyingly inconsistent and needed enhancement for easy access.

Very elegant restored villa, with a multitude of original features, yet discrete air conditioning. Picturesque swimming pool. Restaurant served Fantastic food in beautiful suroundings and was exceptional value for money.

Very good food cooked and served by a real chef. There is a good size pool at the back where we spent most of the two days. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we checked in early and left rather late, which they were very kind to allow.
We stayed over a weekend which is probably not a good idea..I imagine there is probably a club nearby or some entertainment venue as about midnight on Saturday some very loud music was going on up till 4am. That must have been really close as it was very very loud.

Nice location and easy to find
Shower tray cracked and poorly sealed with a huge blob of sealent in front corner of shower tray. Lights and air conditioning too complicated to use, concequencely too hot in night. Natural light very poor and blind broken. Electric lighting in room not suficient. Woke in middle if night to spooky atmosphere.

We were very happy with our stay. We had 4 adults and 4 children and were able to stay in two rooms with four beds each. The rooms were very spacious even with four beds! The villa and the location were beautiful with a great view of the Tuscan hills. The atmosphere was very relaxing. There is a courtyard outside with table and chairs to use anytime we wish. It is close to Lucca, Pisa, the sea, and other interesting locations. My children loved playing with the resident dog, Alex. The staff spoke English and were very nice. We will be recommending this villa to others!!
The only thing I can say is that the double beds are two beds placed together with a mattress topper so they were not very comfortable. However, those of us sleeping in a single bed were happy and comfortable.

Nice spacious room and bathroom. Brand new swimming pool. Relaxed atmosphere.
Average breakfast. When settling the bill a fee of 5 Euro per swimming towel applied.
